Welcome to the Chester & North Wales Medical Society
Dr Martin Sedgwick, became President in September, 2018, taking over from Dr Robin Davies.
The Chester and North Wales Medical Society promotes good patient care by supporting medical education, research and charities through educational meetings and entertainment events, sustaining links between general practitioners and hospital doctors in the area.
The Society has been in existence for well over 100 years.
- Social events including a Winter Ball
- Topical, informative talks ('Academic' Meetings) of general interest along with a meal
- Presidents' Prize Evening for case presentations by local trainees
- Annual Presidential Evening each Autumn for installation of new President
Our new President, Dr Chris Lewis, will be starting his Presidential Year on 18 September with his Presidential Evening.

Most meetings are held at the Education and Training Centre, Countess of Chester Hospital, Liverpool Rd, Chester, CH2 1UL.
There is a car park adjacent to the Centre with level access.
